Business Development Director

Identifies, qualifies, positions the company, and captures new business within the Federal and Civil part of the U.S. Government. Focused and limited support to business development and proposal activities related to other market opportunities will occasionally be required.

- Identifies and qualifies opportunities within the assigned Government Agencies, develops and executes capture strategies and plans to win business in these areas.
- Experience with all aspects of business development to include: research, lead generation, target identification, presentation preparation, clear and concise verbal and written communications, strategy development, capture activities and proposal strategy, planning, writing, editing, and reviewing.
- This position matrixes with other Manager, Director, and VP level individuals in support of division business development efforts.
- May manage other BD staff.

Requirements are:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent 3-5 years of successful business development achievements and experience in business development in assigned agencies.
- Master's degree with at least 8 - 10 years of successful business development achievements and experience in business development in assigned agencies.
- Experience with Fortune 500 corporations, U.S.
Government desired, preference as a former employee, consultant and or military contractor.
- Individual should have working knowledge of Civil Government Organizations (DoD, DoS, NSA, and CIA)
- Individual should have experience with proposal preparation.
- Domestic & International Travel required.
